Wysteria Eclipse

A baobh-shith is a spirit of old Celtic folklore, said to wander the highlands and forests where the veil between worlds runs thin. Often appearing to travelers as a beautiful entity dressed in robes, they are a fae through and through. They are frequently described as deer-legged and vampiric.Legends describe them as both alluring and deadly - luring travelers with a beautiful voice before revealing their true nature. Yet like many fae, they are not defined as merely cruel - only bound to instincts and rules far older than human understanding.

Philosophies

My spiritual path is something I've shaped over time, rather than something I inherited whole. I was raised in a strict Catholic environment, which I ultimately stepped away from in my teens as I began questioning and redefining what belief meant to me.In early adulthood I spent time studying with an Alexandrian Wiccan coven. While I was never formally initiated, that experience gave me structure, language, and a foundation that still influences me and my work to this day. From there, my path's become more personal: less about fitting into a defined tradition, and more about building something honest and lived-in.My practice now draws from multiple roots. I honour my Mi'kmaq heritage, and I'm deeply inspired by Celtic and Norse polytheistic traditions, with a druidic perspective at the core. To me, spirituality isn't about rigid doctrine, or about forcing others to convert, but it's something to be celebrated and shared. It's about a relationship: with the land, with story, with other people, with ancestry and with the unseen.This worldview shapes how I move through life and my creative work alike. It's reflected in the themes I explore, the characters I write and embody, and the way I understand the world - something a little older, a little wilder, and not always fully understood.

Turnaround Time

Guaranteed turnaround times:Illustrations: 30 Days
Character Design: 60 daysUsually, it takes less time than this.Prompt feedback is encouraged. I am not responsible for delays caused by a lack of communication from the client. You may request an update at any time.

Payment

No payment is required until the sketch has been approved.
Payment is either 100% up front, or 50% up front and 50% upon completion.Alternative payment plans may be discussed on a case by case basis.
I only accept invoices through VGen. Checks, electronic checks, cryptocurrency, and money orders are not accepted.I will not accept new commissions from a client until all current commissions are paid in full.Batch commissions must be fully paid before additional work begins.Rush fees start at +10% for deadlines within 14 days of first contact and increase based on urgency.NDA fee: +10% of the commission total or 100 USD, whichever is greater.

Refunds

If you cancel a commission, refunds are only available for work not yet completed. Refund amounts are based on the remaining unfinished work.If I cancel a commission for any reason, a full refund will be issued.

Commission Process

I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason. If possible, I will recommend another artist who may be a good fit.Clients must provide feedback when requested. I am not responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from a lack of communication.Commission Workflow1. You submit a commission request.
2. I gather any additional information needed that was not included in the form.
3. I create a rough sketch.
4. During the sketch phase, you may request unlimited revisions to the overall design.
5. Once the sketch is approved, an invoice is sent and the initial payment is due.
6. After sketch approval, major design changes will no longer be accepted.
7. I complete lineart, flat colours, and backgrounds (if applicable).
8. You may request minor revisions before rendering.
9. After shading and rendering, you may request one final round of minor revisions.
10. Upon final payment, the completed files will be delivered.Deliverables typically include:
Full resolution image
Smaller web-sized version
Watermarked version
Watermarked version with anti-AI scraping protections.

AI Reference Policy

Generative AI images are not accepted as reference material. Reasonable leniency may be given for Pinterest moodboards that unintentionally contain AI generated images or if the client genuinely did not know the image was AI. I will request additional references if this is the case.

Unless commercial license is purchased, commissioned artwork is for personal use only.

Copyright Transfer
